Facebook scam: Privacy Notice and Going Public

I’m seeing this one do the rounds at the moment, even via some IT Professions. Relates to UCC 1-103 1-308 and Facebook being floated on the stock market, “going public“.

Apple have just release a minor update to iOS 5.
Labelled iOS 5.1.1, as you’d expect from a least significant change, not a lot will change.

Google will now tell you why your spam is spam.

A curious departure from the norm for such services.  The reasoning for marking mail as spam is usually a closely guarded secret.  But I think these references will be muted, general phrases.

But perhaps it will help users understand spam a little more.  Services like Postini (from Google)  are though complex and I doubt that some of the reasoning will be very clear.

Time will tell.

Everywhere you go looking at online security you’ll see discussion on passwords.
What should a password be?

• How long?
• Allow any obvious information derivatives?
• Forced complexity?
• Allow real words?
• Force expiry?
